‚twas an entertaining evening

hab heuer schon zwei veranstaltungen besucht, dabei ist noch nicht einmal mai…

sowohl bei der triestingtal- als auch bei der ostalbrallye herrschte gutes fotowetter, trotzdem hab ich jeweils nur eine prüfung lang geknipst – deshalb diesmal keine große motivvielfalt.

mal schauen ob sich noch ein paar ausgehen, z.b. die austrian rally legends im september.

started clubbing in february with sota, followed by a.m.c. in march, then mozey and kmotionz in april. all of them delivered memorable sets.

after many hours dancing in sweaty clubs it was time for a breath of fresh air: dnb on the bike, donauinselfest and then probably my highlight of the year – notting hill carnival. fell in love with jungle music when i first visited in 1995 and this year went on kind of a pilgrimage exactly 30 years later.

thanks to alcemist i also got a backstage pass to frequency festival, which i visited for the first time.

as fun as it was there i realised that i prefer gigs in small venues. luckily i got to see many great acts throughout the year in places like flex: kanine, goddard, vibe chemistry and again alcemist.

enjoyed many great sets by lens, flava d and last but not least by local talents like inaya, skabe, youphoria, replic, kade, lilz, drumdadandbassboy and many more.

other highlights included camo & krooked’s radioshow as well as their free open air set in june.

was für ein sommer bislang … dnb on the bike, pride, dif. hier ein paar eindrücke von letzterem

perfektes wetter, prächtige stimmung, basslastige sounds. statt mitzuradeln hab ich den pulk an drei verschiedenen stellen abgepasst, dank guter öffis kein problem

Spontaner Kurzausflug, um der Kamera mal wieder ein paar Actionshots zu gönnen. Gutes Wetter, schöne Landschaft, nicht allzu viele coole Autos (zu viele 3er BMW für meinen Geschmack).

Die guten Leute von MO haben mir die Tuareg nochmal für ein paar Tage überlassen – danke dafür. Und das Wetter war eh bestens, also habe ich mal kurz am Bodensee vorbeigeschaut und das Donautal befahren sowie schmale Pfade im Welzheimer Wald gesucht.

… hab ich schon lange nicht mehr in einem Jahr besucht. Und velleicht werden es 2024 sogar fünf. Mit der Jännerrallye hab ich heuer jedenfalls sehr früh losgelegt, dann folgten meine beiden „Stammevents“ Ostalbrallye und Eifel Rallye Festival im Frühjahr und Sommer. Bei der Herbstrallye im Waldviertel habe ich dann zum ersten Mal ein aktuelles WRC-Auto mit einem ehemaligen Weltmeister in Action erlebt.

Eigentlich hatte ich vor, zum WM-Lauf ins Dreiländereck A-CZ-D zu fahren, aber erstens habe ich gerade kein Auto und zweitens sind die Tickets teuer. Wenn das Wetter passt könnte ich aber stattdessen später in die Eifel zur RKA, wo viele Youngtimer am Start sind.
