usually not up for this kind of thing, but here we go: me looking back on 2025
started clubbing in february with sota, followed by a.m.c. in march, then mozey and kmotionz in april. all of them delivered memorable sets.
after many hours dancing in sweaty clubs it was time for a breath of fresh air: dnb on the bike, donauinselfest and then probably my highlight of the year – notting hill carnival. fell in love with jungle music when i first visited in 1995 and this year went on kind of a pilgrimage exactly 30 years later.
thanks to alcemist i also got a backstage pass to frequency festival, which i visited for the first time.
as fun as it was there i realised that i prefer gigs in small venues. luckily i got to see many great acts throughout the year in places like flex: kanine, goddard, vibe chemistry and again alcemist.
enjoyed many great sets by lens, flava d and last but not least by local talents like inaya, skabe, youphoria, replic, kade, lilz, drumdadandbassboy and many more.
other highlights included camo & krooked’s radioshow as well as their free open air set in june.
